The world is a very different place than it was even half a decade ago. It's understandable to not feel great about the future. But, the future is not set in stone. As hard as it is to believe some days, there's nothing that says things can't improve. And we'll be with you through the hardship.

Well paced and well flowing dialogue.
Environment descriptions.
Creating deep and complex characters.
Writing characters so likable that people genuinely ask you in your daily life to be nicer to them and give them a break because they're not doing well.

Once AL can settle into a more normal life (not having death of his planet as a threat), what thing becomes more of a chore than it was when he first experiences. What was a gift of being human and not a puppet that now he's like, nah I didn't really want that specific thing as much as I thought

With albtraum especially, is there a level of immortal survivors guilt? I feel like each immortal has specific people that were really important to them during their mortal lifetimes that they feel guilt for outlasting but what about after living 100-200 years? Does AL avoid new connections?

Absilutely. It's understandable to be going through things but you can't live life taking it out on people blindly. If you can't be kind or at the very least courteous, it might be a sign you need to get through some things solo before bringing it out for others to see
