Everyone went home with cookies! 😋

Yesterday the children were introduced to gingerbread! They mixed the dough, cut out the shapes and painted them with icing. They also added candy sprinkles from Canada! This was a day they will never forget 😋

We had a great day at Isla de Tortuga Beach on Lake Titicaca Bolivia yesterday! 6 big tour buses of the children and their families went. Some had never been to a beach before! Wonderful memories were made ❤️

Tonight HBF Directors met with in-country partner Helping Hands - La Paz’s team. In person meetings like this help cement the relationship between the two organizations and strengthen the commitment to helping build brighter futures for Bolivian youth 🩷💙

We’re excited to announce a meaningful partnership to support food security for children at Casa Kusisiña — a name that means “to be happy” in Aymara. This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to the wellbeing of Bolivian children, providing nourishing. Today was the first day for lunch! 😀

This week the bakery class held an exhibition to show off and sell the delicious items they made. Congratulations on a successful event!

Nutrition is an important component in education support. We are grateful to be able to provide what the children need to thrive - vegetables, grains, proteins, and fruit. What’s in your lunch today? 😋

Education is the way out of poverty. HBF provides education support that includes healthy lunch and snacks as well as psychological counselling to help children overcome trauma in their lives. We help build resilience so that children can thrive and build brighter futures for themselves.

Today in our bakery training program in Bolivia the mothers are learning to make pizza and Jawitas! We are grateful for the support of our donors to make this possible. Together we are Building Brighter Futures ❤️
