But that doesn’t help when they are actively KICKING THE SHIT out of the chair!

My mom watches the news and complains about a certain newscaster all the time. “He’s SUCH a drama queen!” I was like 🤨— then I started watching and OMG she’s right. The exact same DRAMATIC INTONATIONS for War in Iran, Plane in Hudson, Punch the Monkey. Sir. NOT EVERYTHING IS EQUALLY INTENSE

Things I’ve done on my tropical “vacation”:
~ gone with my mom to her accountant🌴
~ taken stuff to the dump🌴
~ replaced fridge water filter🌴
~ drilled holes in bird feeder 🌴
~ matched all Tupperware; thrown out approx 200 lids with no bowls, etc.🌴
~ groceries + chores 🌴
~ got the flu 💀

btw I made my mom watch last week’s RuPaul with me (snatch game ep), which means I had to explain everything, and thank GAWD she was in the kitchen when one of the queens made a Dirty Sanchez joke because explaining that would have quite literally finished me off 😭💀

When I was a kid my mom would always get annoyed when I’d tell her things from another room. “Come in here if you want to talk to me!”

Visiting my mom rn and she is literally CONSTANTLY calling out to me from other rooms. COME IN HERE IF U WANT TO TALK TO ME!
