Feeling exhausted today but I am still gonna try to do SOMETHING. Anything for today.

Last thing which also was my main complaint… sometimes the movie did a bit too much with the bdsm elements…, a very “ok we get it” kinda response from me. Other than that i recommend it lol. It’s an experience for sure 🙂‍↕️

I’m gonna watch it again though. The opening sequence was one of the best parts. The desolate landscape and brutality of society… very Nohr core.

…and I blame it mostly on Jacob Elordi, he was giving nothing esp putting him next to Margot. He was very flat and had bursts of violence every once in a while and that’s supposed to be the character. He’s like the super popular actor rn, but I didn’t really see the appeal minus the visual I guess??

After sleeping on it.. I did enjoy wuthering heights 2026. It’s not a faithful adaptation of the novel but it’s good as its own thing. Very pretty to look at. I liked how gruesome it was and the soundtrack.

It didn’t really make me feel much at the end which was trying to really evoke heartbreak

If I want to watch an accurate adaptation 1995 is the way to go. 2007 isn’t bad, but I’d much rather the other. 2022 has it’s moments sometimes with the humor, although there was a lot I didn’t like. It’s very millennial, buzzfeed, spark notes tho so it’s ughh. At least it’s different haha
