Instead of coming home from England, I went to California. For work, also. Stayed over the weekend though and popped up to see the redwoods. I tried to show scale by inserting my 6’4” self into some pics but still doesn’t do the trees justice.

Last month I went to England for work, but got to explore a bit. Saw some abandoned Tube tunnels in London, ate a good sausage roll in Portsmouth, saw some friends, went to a concert, wandered around Manchester.

I cited actual Kirk quotes where he calls Black women less intelligent, demonizes me for being Muslim, & dehumanizes LGBTQ people—& his supporters are upset at me for “speaking evil of the dead.”

If quoting him is “speaking evil” maybe ask yourself why you followed someone who believed evil things.

A few days in Medellín to relax and decompress before starting my new job on Monday…here we go!

I basically lived at the Milkcrate Cafe for 2 years. Sulimay’s also excellent, both for breakfast. Lloyd is a great little whiskey bar. If you want a unique experience, the Victor Cafe is one of a kind—good Italian with servers who are all trained opera singers.
