A new device joins my setup.
Absolute beauty.
Will be featured in some parts of one of my next two albums.

I got that Xpand!2 VST Synth at a sale.
Amazing.
I love romplers. Even software ones.
Sounds so well playing along with the Korg M1 as well.
I'm Excited to get some use out of it!
Got some beautiful factory presets too.

You have so much analog gear. Beautiful in sound, pretty to look at.
Absolutely beautiful stuff. How do you have the energy to maintain it all?
I'd assume it takes a lot to keep it all working smoothly.
Or maybe I overestimate the complicatedness of analog gear?

Touch to play the chalkboard! I did a deep dive on the Beam Sound Board featured in the Florian Schneider estate auction. I even managed to find a very close relative, which I show here, designed in communist times Czech. more over on YT:

Also thank you for the stuff you've been doing with AudioThing in recent times.
Making super wonky and interesting things accessible to people who otherwise would've never even gotten close to them.

I love everything I've seen and heard of spring reverbs.
Also I have heard that of physical gear they're among the ones that aren't super demanding to maintain?
If that's the case they're certainly something I can look into as a not so handy man.
Perhaps a gateway to learning more about hardware.

Most of my music spawns out of spontaneous creativity and freestyle.
Sure gives dopamine to my ADHD brain.
But it means I often can't well memorize and re-play my songs after I have first recorded them.

Advice to learn to memorize and replay my music live would be amazing.
If anyone sees this.

I'm not very tech smart and I'm also not American but the video still makes one think.
So many people have this "I've got nothing to hide" attitude with surveillance, especially over here in Denmark.
Flock probably ain't over here but it makes me curious about the cameras I see out and about.

Store was kind and ordered a replacement.
I love physical stores.
Especially ones with a welcoming atmosphere.
Idk, it's one of few places where I feel at ease and not like an alien.
It's a nice place.

Seem to have bought a broken chromatic harmonica.
Some of the reeds were dead from new.
I really like the thing otherwise.

Hoping the shop can repair it.
Or order a replacement. Something.
Really could use a chromatic.

Mixing track 4/15 in my experimental album thingy.
I'll make a little video of clips recorded during the making of it too.
Although I can't imagine the workflow of a guy who likes solitude and isn't social very often as being very interesting.
But it's a way to show humanity in current day art.

It's hard finding a functional VST version of the E-MU Mo'Phatt module.
Kontakt and soundfont versions don't sound like the hardware.
Proteus VX and Emulator X3 VST plugins don't either.
I'm a bit hesitant on going hardware because I'm not technical enough for repairs.
But I might do it. Someday.

I've found when mixing I rarely use more than EQ and dynamic EQ on most things (Well and the volume slider, and adjusting effect levels).
I do some MJUC and D-Essing on vocals too.
But it all remains somewhat simple.
Years ago, I thought it needed to be way more complicated. Simple is fine.

Never thought car would be the one to remind me to get it together and actually work on my piano skills which have not improved in the past 10 years whatsoever.
Love the universe you've created with this game.
Hits my love for surreal art and fun characters simultaneously. :)

I've found it quite fun when using FL Studio (I sometimes do it in Reaper too) to set a color theme and run with that while I work on a specific album.
I'm working on something on the experimental side currently that I'm excited to get out someday.

I think Little Big Planet for the PSP is unique.
I remember playing the other 3 a while back.
A friend and I loved the bomb survival kind of levels the community made all the way back in the first game.
I think the PSP version is very fun too.
It's kinda special to me.
Different from the others.

Unmedicated ADHD here too.
I'm happy meds work for a lot of people.
Didn't for me.
I'm happy with how I've learned to live with it, but it's not easy.
Horrible memory, impulsive speaking, super distractible.
Notebooks and alarms. Will still forget things.
Didn't know people saw it as just a quirk.

The Fairphone seems interesting to me.
However it is friends and family almost insisting I get a smartphone, and I ain't gonna buy it myself because the non-smartphone I got is fine.

A little snippit from the EP I released in May. Primarily to test video uploading on this platform. Song is "Living in a Fantasy." I hope to further improve my singing in the future to deliver better performances than this but I am still proud of it.

I've noticed it is hard to find a newer model smartphone that is no bigger than an iPhone 5, while also remaining inexpensive and usable at the same time.
I don't wanna get an iPhone though.

Wish I was.
Really wanna go down there and experience some of the music scene someday.
You were one of the people that opened my eyes to the fantastic world of experimental music down in Germany.
Perhaps one day.
I do wanna practice and sharpen my German first though.

When it was time to record vocals for the final piece that needed it in an album but then you got sick.
Well hopefully in a few days I can get working on it again.
Till then I'll just make more pad sounds on the Korg Wavestete.
It's really good for that.

Messy bedroom studio with a Korg Wavestate MK2, Modal Cobalt5s, Behringer Pro VS mini, a small tongue drum, a pair of KRK monitors, a screen and a chair. One speaker has a summer car plushie on it from Garn47. The other a crow plushie.

My stinky corner for music making.
Nothing special, but good enough for me.

Got a little friend on each speaker.
One is a crow I was gifted and I gave it a small little hat thing I found somewhere.
And the other is Summer Car Garn47 moment.

I am happily working on stuff.
It'll be out someday.

Hello.
A test post.
I am not known for using social media as I originally quit it all years ago.

I'm experimenting with ways of staying somewhat connected to the world as a musician again.

Living under a rock CAN get boring.

Can't say how active I'll be.
Time will tell I guess.
