Matt Tomkins has his 4th shutout of the season with a 30 save effort as Bakersfield win this one 2-0 against Tucson. They get goals from Rhett Pitlick and James Hamblin. They’re not back in action until Friday when they’ll head to Cedar Park, Texas to take on the Stars.

James Hamblin has his 23rd goal of the year from almost down on the goal line. Seth Griffith and Atro Leppanen with the assists.

Now more than ever I’m convinced losing Anthony Bourdain meant we lost probably the biggest person on tv who advocated for the wonders of meeting new people and calling anyone online who hated learning new cultures the children they were, ruthlessly to the camera.

Tucson takes it in OT. Condors had the most chances but couldn’t finish it off. Honestly, the Roadrunners deserved this one. Going down to 5 D so early certainly didn’t help. Luke Prokop likely comes in tomorrow as the natural RD. Josh Brown is still injured.

We’re off to OT in Bakersfield. The Condors have mostly just been hanging on for 2 periods. Calvin Pickard kept them in this in the 3rd. Their only dominating special teams, the Roadrunners have been better in every other sense.
