I worked the 2:30-6:30 shift and it was a steady flow the whole time. When I left there were lines.

Oh nice! I guess I shouldn’t be speaking for every state! Ha! All I know is it’s not like anyone is getting rich working the elections. Most do it out of the goodness in their hearts.

I also need to say how thankful I am for the people who volunteer to run and work at polling places. It’s remarkable. Hundreds of thousands of regular people all over the country dedicated to making sure your votes are counted, not some dark looming government force. Let’s keep it that way.

I’m working at my polling place today like I do every election! Afternoon shift. I still find it a thrill. Everyone who works there is from the neighborhood. And I get to see all my neighbors! I don’t think people understand how local elections are. It’s truly amazing. It gives me hope.

Just heard there’s a line at my polling place in Philly. This does not usually happen in non- Presidential elections. 🤞🏼
