What I really don't get is all the people who vote Republican, on the grounds of "Raising taxes on billionaires will be against my interests when I'm one of them". And then they go back to their dead-end wage-slave job, without ever figuring it out.

The world feels like a very dark place right now.. but one thing I've realized is that although we are all complex beings, many of us are compassionate and care about others. I think that part of ourselves along with our imaginative and spiritual sides need to be nourished..

I keep saying this. Service workers are in a unique position to make their lives absolute hell. Fuck up their food, give them the worst hotel rooms, the worst rental cars, lose their registrations, lose their orders, loosen the buttons on their dry cleaning.

Yup. I love the fact that brothels exist and are completely unremarkable, like taverns. And also that when violence to SWs happens it's used as 'the person doing this is an absolute shit' character development, rather than being trivialized or played for laughs.

FWIW I have no idea what proportion of accounts are bots either here or on Xitter, but I don't see how you can have a sensible discussion about engagement without having some idea of that.

But who are those likes from? Are they from real people, or from bot accounts?
If you just want the endorphin hit from the likes, then I guess it doesn't matter... but if you're looking for that to turn into tangible business, it probably does.
