In a choice between Volkswagen multivan, and M113, the choice is obvious. You fight with what you got, not with what you wish you had. M113s are by far the most numerous APCs Ukraine received. I would suggest you seek out Ukrainian feedback on the vehicle, the results will surprise you.

M113s are fine, they punch well above their weight. They are reliable, fast and ergonomic, and still better protected than BMP-1,2 and don’t detonate like BMP-3 when hit. Ukrainians like them. Armchair generals see “aluminum armor” and just write it off completely. Don’t be that guy.

yeah, at this point there is no telling unless we get more info, the only thing is clear is the warhead is not in that pile of debris, it does look like they dragged all of the debris into one compact pile. no fragmentation damage on any of the parts either.

warhead detaches from the motor stage before the impact in a lot of ballistic missiles... just the fact that they set such a small cordoned off area around it, would tell you that there's no explosive contained in it.
