Watched DEAF PRESIDENT NOW! last night and found it suitably rousing and really well assembled (wild that sound design wasn’t Emmy nominated). I’m curious if there are any deaf or hard of hearing critics, though. I thought it curious they kept cutting from signing and relied on audio narration.

The best compliment I can probably give Billy Shebar's MONK IN PIECES is that it has inspired me to become ensconced in the art of Meredith Monk since I saw it. A fascinating artist and I greatly enjoyed what this doc does with her story.
