To say nothing of stuff that actually works (although I suspect new versions of old tech would be just as shoddy as anything else these days).

It’s not like Google had thousands of staff personally scouring the internet for results to then deliver to us whenever we searched something. The new AI functionality is doing the exact same thing, doing it worse, and it cost lots of money to develop. Where is the upside here?!?
