How am I the only one dressed for Halloween? What's the point of working in a theatre if no one else wants to play dress-up?

I already answered this one before so here's a funfact about that K-pop smut: the one that is crazy popular for some reason has 5 times the views or more of my other smut in that fandom and the kudos on that one alone make up almost 1/10 of all my kudos combined

I write mainly in google docs because it's the most convenient option for me. I used to also have handwritten notes for a first outline but now it all happens in one document.

If I count everything (including ideas and rough outlines) I currently have 11 Wips. Almost all of them are different haikyuu ships but there is one for a maybe kinda obscure fandom (the three investigators, it's weirdly popular in Germany, hard to explain xD)

(2/2) I write a lot of explicitly queer stories or coming of age stories and getting comments from people who relate or tell me they were moved by them is always the best feeling.

That's tough, I don't mean this as bragging but over the almost ten years of me writing fanfic I have gathered a couple hundred reviews so it's hard to pick. I appreciate all of them of course but I do love the more detailed ones. I really love when my stories resonate (1/2)

I think I have project goals rather than writing goals if that makes sense. Like I don't have a set amount of words or stories I want to post overall but once I start a project I usually have a pretty clear idea how long I want it to be and what I want to include. And I have challenges like my bingo

I do outline everything I write. I usually have a scene by scene outline for everything. It can get pretty detailed but sometimes my notes are just [add filler scene here], [talk about xyz] or my all time favourite [happy end, kiss???]

I don't really keep anything after editing since I do everything in the same document, so everything that is cut along the way is gone forever

(2/2) I also write and post on a German fanfic forum (that is my first language), and my most popular one by views there is a BokuAka fanfic that was one of the first I ever posted. I'm really fond of that one and plan to overhaul it for its upcoming 9th anniversary.

I know that smut tends to do better, but it does feel a little random to me how that one specific rpf smut about K-pop idols remains one of my most viewed and kudosed works (far more than my others in that fandom). Like what is so special about this one in particular? (1/2)

I have a lot of tropes that I am fond of. I do include the cursive oh almost every time I write a falling-in-love type story. I really like meet-cutes, infatuation at first sight and different first meetings. But I also tend to have ambiguous relationships/endings in my shorter stuff.

Aside from spelling and translation stuff, the last thing I looked up is whether a gun firing next to a gas stove can cause an explosion (it can't really, or is unlikely to, but I decided to include it in the fic anyway)

haha, it's so interesting how we are so different with this stuff. I need some background noise when I write, and I tend to have at least some water or tea to sip on. Also, don't mind me checking out that fic (after I am finally done reading through all the other works in the flash exchange 😵‍💫)
