Two more cases of HIV cure after stem cell transplant - the 8th and 9th.
The treatment is too dangerous and gruelling for anyone not facing a terminal cancer diagnosis but each case may provide clues to a cure for all.

It's not a mirror - it's not PubMed with the same functionalities at a different URL. It's a quite different and independent service, with different search algorithms etc, that ingests PubMed/PMC. See my post: absolutelymaybe.plos.org/2025/02/14/w...

Did the threshold to treat decrease? If I remember correctly previous guidelines still recommended observation in SAg neg patients with chemoTx. What do you think?

Virtual Home Care for Patients With Acute Illness This cohort study compares outcomes of patients receiving care in an outpatient, virtual, home-based acute care model with outcomes of patients receiving standard hospital care.

For my inaugural post, Im proud to announce the publication of our Safer@Home care model. This is going to change how medicine is practiced. No need to admit pts "for IV antibiotics" anymore. Or just for IV diuresis in CHF. Or just for EtOH withdrawal. Etc.
