IIRC, our first computer was a KayPro II. When we moved on, I sold that workhorse to a fellow teacher (this was around 1985). When he retired 18 years later, he was still using it to compute the grades for his classes. Aftre the KayPro we moved up to a Xerox 620, a clunker that ran 8" floppy discs.
