The Lion Nebula Sh2-132 is a faint emission nebula located in the constellation of Cepheus. It’s 10,000 light years from earth. I captured it with my Askar FRA500 telescope, ZWO AM5 mount, and ASI2600MC Duo camera. 😊

I've observed their behavior, and they are clearly more intelligent than other fish.

Mossy Tree Frogs will sit below the waterline, waiting to ambush their prey. They are both aquatic and arboreal, blending into their mossy environment.

I can't help but wonder how many marine creatures I have swam past, not recognizing they were there. πŸ˜†

An absolute must. One of the many rules of the open water course is to wear proper booties when diving.

So true, there's a lot of risk in engaging with marine life.

Thanks. It's incredible how many different ways marinelife practice the art of camouflage. Stonefish are no exception.

Thanks, I've missed several opportunities, cloud cover being the number one culprit. You'll get another crack at it in three years. Best of luck, and clear skies. πŸ€

Can you see the stonefish's eyes and mouth? I found this one in very shallow water along the beach while exiting the dive site. Their 13 dorsal spines can inject the most potent venom of any fish, sometimes lethal.
