It’s beginning to feel a lot like a kitchen is forming. Im so excited to have a real kitchen. We have been remodeling our house since 2019. Both bedrooms are done, living and dining area. Need to finish the kitchen, next year the laundry and 2nd bath!

Started demo of my grandmas room- things we found: fabric wall paper, door framing with the name Dierks on it which was the company Dierks Forests who made lumber until 1954. Also underneath all the Sheetrock & particle board is - 100 year old amazing wood. And then we have a living area with stuff

This room was a storage room before my grandma came to live with us - it was still kinda a storage room now- but I started cleaning it up while my grandma is in rehab and hope to have it updated and ready for her triumphant return!

The problem with remodeling a home and being a caregiver is when you get a minute you don’t want to remodel, demo or paint. So this weekend- the hubby and I are taking off probably to Branson, MO

I’ve been doing it for 5 years and still don’t know what I’m doing. But I can take a look around and say I’m doing pretty good! Most of the time.

2019 when we purchased the 1920 home and 2024 when we have made significant progress on the house- outside. We replaced or repainted most of the old wooden siding- a lot hiding under the abestos tiles. Replaced the roof, all the water pipes, and added gutters all in 2024.

Could be the change in temperature? While the heater is on they dry out quicker - is the soil still moist ? Or have you tried misting them daily?
