Happy pride to everyone! (Totally didn’t forget I had an account here)
After the Mindflayer invasion the Planescape heals. The B-Team requests an assist, our heroes of course turn up. But as always, their best-laid plans turn into their wildest adventures as the Per Aspera returns for a One-Shot adventure this Friday!
Get your lucky bolts ready...

Hate being in limbo for applications
No I don’t know what I’m doing after graduation and it’s really stressful to think about right now thanks
My advice for emerging artists and pros alike: it’s time for in person events.
The industry and community is scattered and algorithms are currently siloing us off.
Go to cons, festivals, screenings + launches, and other art events.
While social media is still shifting, invest in face to face.
Shocking tv show lines that have stuck with me:
“But I’ll be back at 11….11:15 if there’s traffic.”
(Said ominously by the guy who is running unethical experiments on the dog from dog with a blog)
Just saw @nationaltheatre.org.uk ‘s The Importance of Being Earnest in my local movie theater phenomenal production of one of my favorite plays
Long week.
I’m cutting things out for a bulletin board at work and I can still hear my pre school teacher saying “turn your paper not your scissors”
If someone new to activism tells you about something like Blackout Friday, my feeling is you respond and say, “Cool!” and take part because it costs you nothing, then follow up with “Thanks for telling me about that—do you want to join me on [sustained action]?”
This semester I’ve discovered I’m a passable lyricist
Some people are asking what's the point, it's such a small thing
Exactly. America failed the solidarity test in 2020 when masking and distancing, very easy to do, yet apparently too much inconvenience to save lives.
Economic blackout is small, easy, it's baby steps resistance.
Why is it that being busy brings out my urge to write? Can’t I have this many ideas when I’m doing nothing else and have the time?
Thinking about the time my high school English teacher thought the wax Stan funeral in gravity falls was about existentialism and he had no context for why it was literally just foreshadowing
I miss weekends

And of course, Trump will get the credit for bringing it back in a few days. The Dems just gifted the biggest self own in modern politics.
I’m about halfway through reading Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus and I honestly thought this was a romance gone bad turned woman telling housewives how to kill their husbands book. I was not prepared for a deeply autistic woman educating the populace and validating women 💙📚

We’re just gonna ignore the fact I didn’t finish my 2024 books
Would love to be added!
My greatest claim to fame is knowing how to say ‘Next Stop University of Limerick’ in Irish as an American
Every time my sound is on when I play NYT games I get spooked by the lick
Today’s bookish Year In Review is NPH’s choose your own autobiography. My mom and I have been rewatching HIMYM off and on for two years now and I had a lot of fun going through this wacky book. It even has a chapter told by my problematic fave Barney Stinson. 5/5 for the novelty alone

LGBTQ activists: They're definitely going after Obergefell.
Many pundits and reporters: Stop being melodramatic with these exaggerated claims.
Them: We're definitely going after Obergefell.
Late! Bookish YIR day 2!
I finally read Jeannette Mccurdy’s book. She’s a good storyteller and you can tell writing is where her real passion lies. 5/5
It was also very comforting for me to listen to during the diet culture Jan. season cause yikes that always has me wanting to slip into old habits📚💙
Day one of my month-long book year in review!!
Today is Percy Jackson: Chalice of the Gods by Rick Riordan
I give it a solid 3.5/5 stars
A bit cringe as pjo humor tends to go, very nostalgic and a fun adventure, but it loses points for being conceived as a marketing stunt for pjo tv

Watching Princess Bride with my kid brother he was absolutely scandalized by “I want my father back you son of a bitch.”
