Unsolicited writing advice, no. 18364: WORLDBUILDING.
How much of your world do you know? How do you process that knowledge? Apply the same rule to your characters. Decide how far their world extends, and help the reader experience it through your protagonist's senses.

It is a seriously impressive shortlist and there was hot debate amongst my fellow panelists! So excited read all your work! 🙌✨🥳💐🔥

Glasgow nailed it IMO! Tiny issue wi Gluten Free/dairy free food options was the biggest complaint (hit me too) but there were MANY options close by. And the volunteers were incredible about providing info and support. A lot of dignity and integrity displayed also in Hugo’s.

I slept for 13.5 hours today and work up at 4pm. I am doing jet lag wrong 🫠
