It was a tradition to watch it on Christmas Eve that my mom started with my nephew. When she passed away 20 years ago I kept that tradition with my own child for 18 years with my dad. He passed away on December 10th but me and my son watched it together last night. To each his own.

I agree I think he just wants what’s best for Danny and is willing to do whatever it takes to make sure that happens even if it’s going to hurt personally. He is really trying to put Danny first for the first time.
