Jenny from the Block playing a dance-forward alto-belter who doesn’t interact directly in the plot but gets to wear fabulous costumes & be worshipped from afar by a queer person…is honestly the BEST role for her.

Had the chance to see a screening of Kiss of the Spider Woman last night thanks to @jenelleriley.bsky.social, who led a Q&A afterwards with breakout star Tonatíuh. Guys, the movie is GOOD! JLO is pretty perfectly cast ngl. If you want a musical palate cleanser after Wicked, I highly recommend! 🕷️🕸️

I think they had him only do that little intro live. And it’s SO hard to hear out there with those crowds. It’s why the performers lip sync (usually).
