Plymouth Whitemarsh to the line out of a timeout with 2:11 left. Coatesville's just hit one shot the entire second half.
PW's lead is 52-47. Michael Pereira has 18 of the Colonials' 23 points since halftime.
Worse altogether is the fact that interest in Temple MBB is so low, nobody really cares.

End 1Q: Coatesville 18, Plymouth Whitemarsh 9
Colton Hiller with 11, Coatesville was 4-5 from deep in the opening period. PW just 2-10 from the floor. Both teams with two turnovers.
Colton Hiller's second 3-pointer of the first quarter puts Coatesville up 13-8 and forces a PW timeout with 2:46 left in the first quarter. Pulled up over a screen with a hand in his face and buried it anyways. He's got 8 already.
01.03.2026 20:15 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0This is going to be an INTENSE 32 minutes of hoops (at minimum). This gym's about as loud as I've ever heard for a HS game and we're only two minutes in. (Coatesville, 5-2)

Emilia Coleman 17p/6r, Tamia Clark 11p/8r, Megan Ngo 8p/8a/5s/4r to lead the way for the Cardinals, who are district champions for the first time in 19 years.
Pennsbury found some more offensive aggressiveness that quarter, but the Falcons couldn't cut into the Cardinals' advantage.
Upper Dublin up 33-15 going to the fourth. Emilia Coleman up to 15p/5r. UD going for first district title since 2007.
Halftime: Upper Dublin 22, Pennsbury 5
Cardinals with an absolutely lockdown 16 minutes of defense, and the shot-making started to come around as well. Emilia Coleman with 9 points, Megan Ngo 3 points, 4 assists, 3 steals, 2 rebounds.
Emilia Coleman's third 3-pointer of the first half puts Upper Dublin up 17-5. Pennsbury timeout with 2:10 left in the second quarter.
01.03.2026 18:27 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Upper Dublin up 11-3 after one quarter. Cardinals' length has been frustrating Pennsbury defensively.

Girls up first β 1) Upper Dublin (26-6) vs. 7) Pennsbury (21-5)
Penn up 74-68 with the ball to inbounds out of a timeout with 52.1s left. Might we see some more free throws? Only had 58 so far tonight...

Penn's up 68-62 with 3:25 remaining.
Quakers are 12/23 from the foul line, exactly the same as Dartmouth.
Ugly game to watch.
TJ Power's up to a career-high 36 points. First collegiate 30-piece for the Penn junior.
Jay Jones with a layup, Penn up 61-59 with exactly 8 minutes remaining.
Game has been foul-heavy, lots of FTs have made this a slog.
Penn trailed just about all of the first half, including by as many as a dozen. It's 42-34 Dartmouth at the half. A loss wouldn't end Penn's postseason hopes, but it would be a major blow.
28.02.2026 00:55 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0The Westtown reign is over, at least for a year. What a massive win for a Friends' Central program that has gone up against it over and over the last few years and finally gets over the top.
28.02.2026 00:26 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Stopped by the first half of Drexel/Northeastern WBB, where @adrobinson3.bsky.social is on coverage, and now I'm at the Palestra as the Penn men (13-11, 6-5) take on Dartmouth (11-13, 5-6). Win would go a long way towards the Quakers securing a spot in the four-team Ivy playoffs.
