Civics was subject taught my school system in Scotia, NY. That was many years ago. In my youngest daughter’s school, in Wayne, NJ, students were not only taught about our democracy, they were also taught about other political and economic systems. That does not seem to be case nationwide.

Most Americans don’t know how to vote. They were never taught. Responsible citizenship should be taught in our schools. Voting should mandatory. The purpose of voting is not to choose a perfect candidate. Since one of the candidates will win, we should vote for the best of the available candidates.

Trump has never had a cohesive plan about anything that doesn’t involve revenge.
