Scientists at Yale say long COVID is part of a β€œlong-established family of post-acute infection syndromes.” The biggest challenge is understanding its β€œunderlying pathobiology.” They were β€œsurprised” how often children are affected, noting kids are also vulnerable to β€œlong-term effects.”

Sask. woman considers MAID because she can't get needed surgery for rare disease | CBC News For the past eight years Jolene Van Alstine has suffered from a rare form of parathyroid disease,Β normocalcemic primary hyperparathryroidism (nPHPT). It causes extreme bone pain.

A woman in Saskatchewan needs surgery for a parathyroid issue and is being offered MAiD instead.

There’s no one in the province who can perform the procedure and the government won’t pay to send her elsewhere.

This is why disability advocates warn about assisted dying

Putting it all together:
- covid is airborne
- people are getting it repeatedly
- it’s wrecking immune systems

Please: mask, ventilate, filtrate, isolate, immunize.

Flu is airborne, Covid is airborne, & clean air prevents the spread

Ventilation & masking are very effective protections - yet these simple scientific measure are *still* not advised or adopted by health services in Ireland 😷

Alberta government rejected expert advice to report probable measles cases, documents show New data show at least 450 probable cases were identified in the province, bringing the total to nearly 2,500 since the outbreak began last spring

The new data show Alberta, not Ontario as previously understood, has the highest case count of any province, despite having a much smaller population. Ontario publicly reports probable cases.

Hey Alberta,

Please pre-order your flu & covid vaccines for next year NOW to help make sure we don’t run out. Instead of ordering enough for everyone and having a robust campaign, the govt is only ordering what they think the default demand will be.

Sounds like there is a plan afoot to remove the power of the courts to ensure governments follow the law.

In the past five years, I have seen way more new cases of inflammatory skin and joint disease than in my previous 23 years of practice.

By a factor of at least 3-5.

>3X the total new cases in 5 years than in all my 23 previous years.

That’s >14x the annual incidence than I remember before.

Policies of negligence have allowed Covid-19 to spread without control, causing huge amounts of illness and mortality. It is abundantly clear that strong, uncompromising measures of essential safety, such as requiring respirator masks in all public spaces, urgently need to be enforced.

Ventilation is great! But so is air filtration, especially when ventilation can’t keep up, it’s very cold outside, or when there is pollution and/or wildfire smoke.
