I’m sorry this is all a bit rambly and sentimental but I hope it at least shows another perspective on things

It was still hot and exciting at first, but in the end it was just fun getting to do fun kink adjacent things with people I feel safe around. I think simply getting to be so open about things, happily just presenting these sides of myself to people feels very freeing.

Over time I’ve really come around to more platonic stuff. At a recent meet we had a fetish night, where I wore an inflatable suit, thinking it’d be really hot to be reduced to this helpless toy for the night…

At first this was really disappointing for me, but I’ve kinda discovered it hasn’t really changed how I feel about things?

Even if I never really get to enjoy things the way I’d hoped, I still like and have fun exploring my kinks and still actively want to do so despite knowing the usual outcome.

Honestly that’s something I’m definitely still figuring out.
When I started I would’ve said yes without a doubt, but I’ve found it’s really hard for me to get aroused when other people become involved. Even doing stuff directly with toys and the like, I just become emotionally and physically numb.

In regards to satisfaction, I kinda think it really depends on the mood at the time. It really is like a hobby for me, sometimes you could read/create/game/move for hours and still want more, sometimes you are left happy and content, sometimes you end up bored and dissatisfied.

It’s not uncommon once I’ve done something that I’ll either feel a bit empty, like I didn’t quite get what I’d wanted out of it, or that I might’ve lost interest in it, but I’ve always found it worthwhile to keep trying things out and seeing what works for me, even if it doesn’t always end well.

I think for me it’s almost like another hobby. It’s a way of getting to know other people and it’s a way for me to experiment and learn about myself.

It gives me goals to chase and things to do and in the moment it’s fun, stress relieving and fulfilling.
