bluesky is okay but the 22-year-olds who post photos of quinn hughes with the craziest captions i've ever seen aren't here, and i've grown to love those kids like they're my own daughters. an entirely necessary part of the "for you" tab experience, for me.

found an envelope of postcards my grandmother (and maybe my aunt?) included when she returned my flat stanley to me. didn’t know they existed until today! I think they’re written in stanley’s voice? she died a year later so I’m pretty jazzed

I ran the second km of the run a full minute faster than the other kms because I was trying to catch the whales.

podcast run never the fastest but crying at the full minute shaved off when I was chasing the whales. need to always have a whale on the horizon! I’d be hitting a 20 minute 5k no problem!!

saw seals, sea lions, AND orcas today… can confirm that orcas swim much faster than I can run but I did get close enough to see how shiny they are and to reaffirm that being the first person to be killed by a wild orca would be an honour
