This is a fake headline, Ed. Betts did call JD asking for pointers to help him out of a recent slump. JD went to Tampa to meet w/ Betts when LA was playing Tampa. He met/worked w/ Betts on hitting stuff 1-on1 in Tampa, but he isn't a Dodgers hitting coach. 🙂
