I'm not sure about just crediting institutions in an unlevel playing field but fewer publications feels sensible in this time of abundance.

Definitely an urgent area for more cross-organisation collaboration.

In preprint session at #R2Rconf. @colinadcock.bsky.social says in phydics, if a published article hasn't first been preprinted, suspicions can be aroused, questions asked. I'd like to understand more about this. Anyone?

This is what I assumed thanks. Needs to happen much earlier I think in school. Check your sources, support with evidence, share the data etc. Was chatting with @benmudrak.bsky.social after and his 10 yr old child is being taught stuff like this at school 👏🏻. Needs to be widespread.

Following on from a discussion around this yesterday, I'm minded to add that some may find the use of S2O by IWA Publishing to describe this adapted model as problematic. Has one agreed #S2O definition been arrived at?
