Discovered a Kenmore Square pothole on my way home from work. Both knees hurt when trying to sustain weight. Waiting for x-rays.

These were placeholders during the work-in-progress phase. I planned to draw normal pointers after getting approval, but the client really liked these. After seeing Toth's work, so do I.

Matching the Golden Age era, Byrne wrote Batman and Captain America as well-adjusted optimists, and Joker was a patriotic American crime lord. It's a defiantly wholesome reaction to the '90s post-Miller and Moore superhero grimness.
