I completely agree. We don’t need these additional transfers.

Just saying, you can’t give 4 extra transfers to me cos I have 4 in AFCON and only 2 to someone else cos they had fewer.

(we should have no bonus transfers imo)

I see you point… but then it means owning AFCON players gives you more transfers than some who doesn’t (or owns fewer)

Can’t be 4.0 even if he’s Liverpool’s backup still, surely!?

Would have been delighted with this rank at the start of the season, but a few 50/50’s in the last weeks (and missing the deadline) blew a Top 10k finish. 😢

Anyway, I wanted to land my 4th finish inside 22.5k in the last 5 years, and I did that.

Can’t wait for next season already!! 😃

Using your example year as a cut-off... only 16/17 and 17/18 saw 75pts even as low as 4th and 5th. Every year since, 2nd, 3rd max, sometimes no one outside the title winners

I think it's certainly true that 6th/7th have been far more capable of beating 2nd/3rd, but I don't think that's indicative of a weaker league, especially if you consider how far those lesser teams have gone in Europe.

I think there's less of a Top 4 absolutely dominating everyone else.

90+ is far from the norm in the title race, or it certainly wasn't pre-City era. Alex Ferguson hit 90 three times in 26 seasons.

Last season 8th had 2pts more, same in 2022/23. However, in 2021/22, 8th place had 6pts fewer. 2020/21, they had 3pts more, in 2019/20 they had 2pts fewer
