Vaping of any kind, YouTube for sure, soda and sugary snacks.
I need the motivation for these things too, and I could blame my ADHD as for why I’ve prolonged these things. It wouldn’t change the fact that I will continue do these quick dopamine fixes forever.
Now to just get rid of Twitter. That’s what I replaced TikTok with. I don’t scroll on it as often as I do on TikTok, but the amount of things I use for the worst kind of dopamine recipients, it’s hard for me to quit all at once.
That being said, one at a time is showing good signs of effectiveness.
I uninstalled TikTok because of the mental anguish I felt from the outside world, but gotta say. It’s been a couple days and I’m feeling much better. Mentally that is, kind of, I know that I’m missing the doom scrolling, but there is an opportunity to find news way to create dopamine for myself.

So I’ve been watching MLP with my partner for the first time, because funny enough, the entire show is on YouTube.
And thank god, the comments are turned off on every episode. There is not a single episode that has them turned on.
