My wife is from Portland Oregon. We have spent countless weekends with friends and family that live there. The only reason there is upheaval there is due to the ICE agents who are instigating violence and terror.
Our own government has turned against its people.
We have a tyrant in the white house.

Seems like we never hear about those proud boys these days. My guess is they all joined the ice squad so they could get paid while stirring up trouble.

The number of reasons he should have been banned are legion. Especially after his first term.

Finally ready to admit that I fell off a ladder on Monday while picking cherries. The fruit ladder that I have is usually very stable, but unfortunately the ground was soft enough for one leg to sink in. Results: two fractured ribs and a nasty bruise on my leg.

Just had a woman walk in our back door thinking we were the Church where they hold AA meetings. The Church is a huge brick building next door. I said, "No big deal." and she apologized repeatedly. But the thing that bugged me was after apologizing, she said, "You should lock your door."

Not exactly what you're talking about, but this reminds me of "Country Squares" which came out by Post and was followed by "Pop Tarts" from General Mills. It came out at a time when being a "square" from the country wasn't the top aspiration of most people. They renamed them "Toast'em Pop Ups."

It's overwhelming. And unfortunately that is exactly what the regime wants. I'm worried that they'll have the system so rigged we won't be able to dislodge the worst in the mid-terms and get some balance back in the government.

Forty five years ago, when Mount Saint Helens erupted in Washington state, Ruby was visiting me in Seattle. She learned of the eruption when she got on the Greyhound Bus. I learned when she finally got home and called.
I didn't own a TV and cell phones and the internet were still years away.

This has got to be one of the most bizarre moments in US history. These ICE agents must have had terrible childhoods to be so pitiless. And a president who picks his top advisers from an entertainment "news" channel.

I had an Eat A Peach tee shirt. Not sure who gave it to me. But I don't think I listened to the album enough to know that this was one of the songs or what its name was.

Never thought of myself as Irish, but the name Butler is said to have originated with Theobald FitzWalter who was the chief Butler (from Botlier or wine steward) to the Irish court.

Woke up at 2:30am hoping to get a glimpse of the lunar eclipse. But only had the energy to stick my face up against the bedroom window and stare into space for 5 minutes.
