I remembered something strange that happened with my phone
it was going haywire at one point because of its battery
I looked at the gallery and there's this photo in the dark from november 1, 2025 that I definitely didn't take (it's 2023)
I viewed it for a moment and when I looked away, it was gone

yeah it can happen with people that are not genuine with connecting. any form of a healthy relationship is two-way, not one-sided

I've seen things like family members or people who tried to be friends only caring about me when they want something

I often wonder if the lines would work with the colors I'm making so I end up coloring them in post

that would mean I have to do the discipline of doing cleaner sketches though so the shapes are not too confusing

messy yet confident and purposeful linework is so good to achieve

especially with artifacting, making use of leftover bits of the original sketch/concept

I need to rework how I think about lines
I've been slow with lines recently and kinda just realized that I'm overthinking it tbh

do you guys have any tips on learning and doing linework?

As much as I enjoy the term “metroidvania”, Search Action as a phrase just works because it completely sidesteps the potential legal minefield of using the word “Metroid” to market your title. Also Search Action is just what the genre is called in Japan
