AI hype mostly feels like people who code for a living not realizing that not every office job revolves around coding, or even around quantitative analysis at all.

Not a single AI booster has ever been able to explain to me how AI is supposed to help me in my job. It can save me a couple minutes by helping me draft an email, I guess? But that's not a meaningful productivity improvement for me. I still have to do just as much proofreading, if not more.
