We're just jumping right in this time. Extreme closeup of Ingrid's fist going straight through the Orchestrator's face. TITLE CARD: 39: PLANETBUSTER .four.

welcome back, everybody.

TOMORROW.

Establishing shot, just outside of a dusty little town in the shadow of the tall, flat-topped mountains of a rocky desert landscape. We're standing just outside the fencing and gate that encircles the town, both of which have been haphazardly assembled out of scrap metal and machine parts. Looking closer, we can see that the the buildings are similarly constructed. The sign on the gate reads SPADES, POP: 217. NARRATION: Far, far out West. Look closer still, and we can see a large crowd of people gathering in the middle of town. They're dressed in old west fashions, and some of them can be seen to have cyborg implants. Most of them look anxious. NARRATION: Ain't exactly where the story begins... Finally we reach the front of the crowd. There, a woman clad all in black, wearing an eyepatch and sporting a huge braid that trails down to her feet, stares down a man with mutton chops and a cowboy hat. NARRATION: But it's as good a place as any.

The man and woman stare each other down, their faces equally grim. The camera angles low, and we can see that each has a pair of guns holstered on their hips. TEXT BELOW THE WOMAN: "THE SHADOW OF DEATH". OUTLAW. REAL NAME UNKNOWN. TEXT BELOW THE MAN: "LIGHTSPEED" MICHIGAN. TOWN SHERIFF. NARRATION: We'll skip the explanation. Reckon you've seen a duel before. The two of the turn and begin walking away from each other. Michigan eyes the Shadow over his shoulder. The Shadow has her eyes closed. They each take ten paces, and stop. The whole world has fallen away. There is only the two of them.

NARRATION: The fastest quick draw ever recorded on Planet Tombstone is 206 milliseconds. Blink twice. Flashback. Michigan has drawn a gun and fired it into the torso of some anonymous target. NARRATION: In his long career of faceoffs with bandits... Another flashback. A different opponent reels backwards, knocked off his feet by Michigan's gun. NARRATION: And lowlives... A third flashback. Michigan, in mid-air, has drawn his gun and is firing into an amalgamation of flesh and metal below him, its massive teeth ringed by numerous blank eyes. NARRATION: And even, once, a Thinking Weapon... Back to the present. Michigan has pulled a gun from its holster and is whirling to face the Shadow of Death, just visible in the distance. NARRATION: Sheriff Michigan had honed his personal best time to just a hair short: 208 milliseconds.

NARRATION: His nickname, "Lightspeed", was no mere boast. But neither was "The Shadow of Death." For she could draw, aim, and fire... The Shadow has already turned to face him, her gun already drawn and pointed towards him. Her head is craned back slightly, to line her good eye up with the sights. Her face is obscured in darkness, her expression unreadable. NARRATION: In just 96 milliseconds. Michigan's eyes go wide. NARRATION: Instant, merciless, and perfectly accurate. She fires. Michigan flies back, the gun falling from his hand. NARRATION: Hers was the arm of Death itself.

Its finally done!! PLANET TOMBSTONE.
1ST SHOT: THE SHADOW OF DEATH

Rosebud takes off her heels, expressing how hungry she is, as Ayo checks the fridge for food. Inside she finds a spoiled carton of leftovers (cartoonishly sprouting fungus). She suggests to Rosebud that they order pizza instead, Rosebud enthusiastically agrees. Cut to a 3-part montage of Ayo putting on a skull necklace, adjusting her eyeliner (important!), and holding a book with a wailing face on its front cover (spooky!).

Ayo reads the spooky book as Rosebud leans over cautiously, asking what Ayo's doing. Ayo explains that local pizza delivery takes too long so she's planning to use BLACK MAGIC to order one instead (much to Rosebud's disapproval). Rosebud gives in to Ayo's idea, and asks how the pizza-creature is summoned, to which Ayo explains: "Blood" A large SLICE is heard, as Ayo drips blood from her tentacle-finger onto a sigil within the book.

Suddenly, a geiser of water blasts out of the book with a disgusting "BLARG!" Ayo drops the book to the floor with a "SPLAT!" as a skeletal hand thrusts from the book's centerfold. Ayo and Rosebud look on in horror as an undead, tentacled being (wearing a chef's hat) climbs out of the book.

The creature hands Ayo and Rosebud their pizza before cutely descending back into the book, waving goodbye and thanking the two for asking of its services. Ayo and Rosebud pause for comedic effect. Smash cut to Ayo and Rosebud on the floor, still drenched from the events before, eating their pizza. Ayo thinks the pizza could be better. FIN.

Outfit concept for Mourn. tried to do something gyaru-inspired that still fit her aesthetics

when I think gyaru I think miniskirts, but putting Mourn in a miniskirt felt blasphemous somehow. Hoodie works better

Nioh 3 doesnt run well on steam deck but what I COULD see through the frame drops was sick as hell. could honestly play the whole game just in ninja style

I had the issue of PSM where they reviewed this. It was one of those "This is so trash, the whole review is just three paragraphs of riffing" games

so obviously this game owns and I wish I had played it sooner

- He goes to a cannibal village, and is told to his face repeatedly by the villagers that they will eat him. Yuri barely seems to even register this

He then falls asleep on the floor in the middle of the village chief's house and is attacked by cannibal children whom he then beats to death

- He encounters some ghostly masks who tell him that the accumulating resentment of all the monster's he's killed will inevitably coalesce into a dark force that will destroy him.

Yuri's entire response to this information, in summary, is "Man, you guys are losers"

highlights from the first couple hours:
- The first thing we ever see him do is crush an imp's skull with one hand, then picking up the severed arm it had cut from him and sticking it back on

- He loses a scripted battle to the main villain, and just gets up anyway and punches him in the face
