This is a calculated effort to ethnically cleanse area C - which is 60% of the West Bank. And it is moving ahead successfully, while European governments murmur their objections and talk about a two state solution.

Four dead in 24 hours: Israeli settler terror intensifies amid Iran war Settler gunfire killed Palestinians in two West Bank villages as they tried to defend their land. In the aftermath, soldiers’ tear gas induced a cardiac arrest.

Israeli settlers in the West Bank harass, terrorise, destroy, burn, injure and kill Palestinians, their properties and livestock every day, while the IDF is aiding and abetting them.

In 1968 Finland banned for profit education, the few private schools that exist in Finland have to reinvest any profit they make or pay it back to parents.

It has been in the Top 3 in education for the last 20 years.

There should be no profit in education or healthcare.

A discreet intellectual network has been reshaping the world for 70 years. Here's how A constant battle of ideas reshapes the world we live in, and few groups have been more successful in winning the war than the little-known Atlas Network.

Heard of Heritage and Project2025? Tip of the Titanic's iceberg. Wait until you hear about the Mont Pelerin Society and Atlas Network.

From ABC News. This is an Australian article, but mostly applies to the whole world

While providing (rightly) seven #Iranian women footballers asylum and joining an illegal war, the Labor Government today is passing a Trump like entry ban to block Iranians from entering Australia for the next 6 months. Despicable and morally bankrupt in its hypocrisy and lack of decency and values.

This is how our government has been corrupted:

1) Donors give huge sums to elect politicians
2) Elected officials rewrite rules in donors' favor
3) Donors make huge profit
4) Repeat

We must get big money out of politics. It’s the root of all evil in Washington.

A political cartoon by Megan Herbert in which a journalist asks Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, " Have you just committed us to a war?" And the PM responds, " No, I've committed us to a (preemptive retaliatory de-escalation action to protect and defend Australians and other citizens in response to a request by our new strategic partner by sending defensive missiles & surveillance equipment to protect the airspace and assist the region with its collective self-defence against reprisal attacks that come as a result of the ongoing operation launched as an anticipatory response to perceived threats by historical allies acting against the established international rule of law who are too powerful for us to in any meaningful way challenge.) There's a very big difference." The words in brackets are arranged in such a way that they completely fill the word WAR written in a huge, hulking, bold khaki font.

A war by any other name.

How US bases make Australia part of the Iran war Australia’s role in supporting the US-Israel war against Iran with the hosting of a string of US military bases across the country is a critical contribution to the US war machine.

Amy Remeikis. It’s become clear that Aust/US facilities are big part of Israel’s war/occupation machinery.

Jillian Segal’s aggressive moves to remove Aust free speech/protests are linked to Israel military needs. Aust has been occupied. #auspol

Lovely to see my brilliant friend Allegra Spender presenting principled and detailed proposals for tax reform at the National Press Club.

We need the government to commit to significant tax reform to address increasing intergenerational inequity. Young Australians deserve nothing less.

Four frames. Title: “The rules”. Albo and Penny Wong at a lectern. 1. Albo: “Some of you have asked if rules still apply, so we’d like to clear things up.” Wong: “Obviously we shouldn’t kill!” 2. Albo: “However, if you hurt or kill someone and enough people agree they were bad, then the rules aren’t up to us.” Wong: “It’s a ‘matter for them’” 3. Albo : “Also, if you get someone else to do the killing for you and someone accuses you of it, that’s ‘a conspiracy’” Wong: “Against the rules!” 4. Plus, if thousands of innocent people get killed when you kill the bad person, you must focus on the six people you saved.” Wong: “That’s the rule!”

The rules.
