I used to pretty regularly have a kitchen book for while I was cooking, a living room book, and a bedroom book. Plus whatever ebooks I had checked out.

The wild turkeys near where I used to live did this, too! And when we'd honk to try to encourage them to move out of the road, they would just run up and peck our tires. We couldn't move until they decided they were ready!

For years, my then-husband worked on Thursday, so the kids and I would have "Charlie Brown Thanksgiving" that day, with the big meal on Friday. Kinda miss that tbh

I was thinking the same thing. My son is red-green colorblind and this would just look like a lot of brown smudges to him

While my parents and I have a great relationship, the place they live now is 1000 miles from where I grew up. Visiting them is not going "home" to anything I know or feel comfortable about.

Today, my tongue was finally feeling better but I'm home sick so I made myself some tea and immediately burnt my tongue again. I am not winning

That's amazing! I had a little lemon tree once, but it didn't survive in the cabin I lived in at the time. Enjoy your little fruits!
