A messy doctor with messy hair. Her clothes and face are stained having to take care of the pilot who is suffering from deep burns. (Yes this is inspired by Mouthwashing) The pilot lies behind the doctor on a bed, she is not accentuated with a outline while the doctor is, giving focus to the doctor as a interactable character.

Arriving in orbit, the party met up with a rescue ship that is ironically in need of help.
They meet with a kind doctor who stayed in orbit to take care of the pilot who got hurt while heroically saving a rotovator.

Figuring out the look and physics of the cloak is one of the biggest challenges -- it's different in each panel!

The time it takes heavily depends on how much I enjoy drawing something. I like this character, so it wasn't too bad :)

Not much to say, progress has been stagnant for the last week.
But taking a break might just have been the right option.

Looking back at older art now, seeing how far I've come already, gave me the right motivation to continue.

I'm fully aware that this might not mean much, coming from me.
Because I'm still spending an overly long time on each panel.

But the detail is intentional and I'm okay with taking time, as long as I don't get myself stuck -- that's when it becomes a problem.
And so far, the progress has been good!

Creating a comic, after only focusing on individual illustrations before, has taught me a wide range of new things.
Technical skills in writing, composition and many more.
One of the most valuable, however, being the ability to move on from a piece of art. Being okay with the imperfection.

This is one of the first panels I drew since rewriting my prologue.
Already over half a year old, it does show its age a little bit.
Despite some things I would change with my current skill, I cannot linger on the past too much -- not with so much work ahead!
And over all, I still like it

This is my most recent one, still very WIP. But I am hoping to finish this panel (+ the rest of this page) this month.

Progress is steady, and if everything continues to go well, the first chapter will be ready by january. Excited to share more in the future!

My girlfriend told me that this was her favorite panel of the comic so far, so I'm sharing it.

Everything is still work in progress, so I might come back and change some shading later. But for now, I am happy with it!
