All I'm saying that 1MW charger can be done, its not that far of from 0.2MW chargers we already installing. We do not need to blindly trust chinese of course, but thit thing not as huge of a deal to be overly sceptical.

Hello, electrician here. For connector to melt there needs to be lot of heat which is generated by current. But there is also a voltage which doesnt generate heat and only needs proper insulation. If they raise charging voltage of their EV's high enough the current can be quite low.
