thought this platform would be a breath of fresh air and I can see how it is for some! but instead it just forces me to confront the severe grief stemming from the likelihood of not being any sort of artist/creative anymore that I STILL haven't properly addressed (therapy 2 expensive)

The buildings - they were SPEAKING to me again! I can't call it overstimulation because it was too euphoric, maybe "hyperstimulation"? The world felt Real. I didn't realize (or was in denial) that it hadn't been.

After months, maybe almost a year of skirting the fenceline of anhedonia I went on a little "first warm night of the year" walks after severely neglecting my walk habit. I was getting chest butterflies by the smallest little things - string lights on a porch, smells of charcoal, blur of the moon -

tbh I think having a growing amount of paintings no one wanted filling up a tiny 1br was one of the things that burned me out lmao :(

thinking I'll use this page more for art/deep tho(ugh)ts, etc and bird app for more flippant fare so basically I'm approaching it as short form tumblr and may I regain the lack of shame held by 22 year old Dust

Was driving home and put on "Plainsong" since the sky was that delicious dark rain cloud and sunset combo. Went around a curve and the sun exploded out of the clouds in a rich shade of gold. Damn well moved me to tears? These moments are 100% what music is all about
