Isn't it a bold political statement by the assassin that the stigma against assassination of national leaders by foreign assassins should be lifted by the international community, & treated as as a perfectly legitimate, & even favored, method of conflict resolution worthy of a Nobel Peace Prize? ;)

I wonder if Trump arranged this with Putin and President Xi, and offered them each 33% equity stakes in all of the natural resources and economic value of the country of Iran, thereby securing their support and eliminating them as a potential opponents in this imperialistic land grab.

How about just reassign those same 1000 agents who Bondi recently reassigned to dumbed-down ICE anti-immigration activities not requiring hardly any "investigating" type work. Put them back in their normal roles as "Investigators." The "I" in F.B.I. stands for "Investigation" not "Incompetence".

The chaos of the resultant political vacuum grows the # of dictators. Look what Iraq looks like w/o Saddam Hussein or Syria w/o Assad. Responsible regime change requires years, even decades, of rebuilding & this requires way too much time, money, and resources than the US is ever willing to expend.

Perhaps Congress should pass a bill requiring the Exec Branch to cease all ICE activity and all Trump warmongering foreign adventures not specifically authorized by Congress, and instead use the millions of employees hours & billions saved thereby for getting the Epstein files published?

The point being that having more than one of these jobs is no honor at all but rather an embarrassment and a very real threat to national security by forcing a person who holds two of the most important national security jobs to sabotage job effectiveness & increase the risk of major mistakes.

Remember, the combined jobs that Mario Rubio holds require the equivalent of a 32 hour work day every day of the week weekends included. What he's left with is just enough time to scramble and do CYA work while sheepishly obeying a slew of illegal commands in lick-spittle fashion.

And of course "comply AND die.". For to comply with this malevolence is to agree to, to consent to be murdered.

I've talked to Minneapolis DA Mary Moriarty several times, including a few months ago. Former public defender with no qualms about charging abusive cops. She has also been threatened by the Trump administration, is not seeking reelection, and doesn't back down.

The basic pro-"us" prejudice is baked into nationalism, and there's no denying its force. The only question is our capacity for comity among nations and our willingness to exercise it. The real analytical focus should be on international law and rational/moral transparency & honesty, not niceties.
