That is not my intention that’s why I said ”people are queer”. You’re not a straight couple but I prefer applying this to people rather than relationship dynamics for said reasons.

And I think the question isn’t always: who’s right, but: did we learn something and now are better equipped to face marginalization.

It’s fine to disagree with me. If your experience is different- good for you! I think we can agree that with a disturbing number of relationships there obviously are harmful dynamics catering to cis men. And I would love to not mask that and have people able to address that as easily as possible.

And my whole point is that it potentially *does* harm.

Questioning a labels use isn’t preventing anyone from labeling their relationship however it pleases them. But as I said, if an effect of that is that it masks power imbalance and prevents people from addressing that I think it’s fair to look at that. And I’m a person affected by this.

Maybe I don’t know, sit with that. Cause for example, if someone said “we should question the power dynamics that trans women experience in relationships with people who aren’t trans women”, it wouldn’t be my first thought to tell them to not assume my relationship dynamic.

I did not. I used the word ‘often’ as to my experience that’s the case. And I said to question the power dynamics. That this makes you uncomfortable says a lot about you :)
