Today is a day when arts degrees are worthless, but the product of those degrees is so valuable it would kill an entire industry if they were made to pay for it.

This cormorant type bird is new to me. It had a lot going on and I ran out of time. Someday I will throw more energy into finishing the details and a dark backdrop behind the head to let it stand out.

The boreal chickadee, a small fluffy bird clings to a white twig against a forest background. Some of his finer feathers fluff out in a breeze.
