It is a pleasure to be part of the GEWEX SSG and spend some time with this great group of people.

It was exciting to see all the great GEWEX research happening all around the world.

Our new paper shows how much climate can impact the recovery of vegetation after large fires. After the 2019/2020 Australian fires, the unusually high rainfall substantially increased the rate of recovery over what would have happen in normal conditions. iopscience.iop.org/article/10.1...
