Shaking with fury when I hear some people make up their own #ttrpg adventures - many not even compatible with a games SRD assuming it even has one - and just run them. I want to play the game created by the professional designers - using their campaigns and adventures - not bullshit homebrew stuff!!

I'm not really a mech kinda guy, but I really like the vibe of Salvage Union - the grungy, dilapidated feel and the fact a lot of the mechs don't look like they're just giant robots with token people in them. Also did I mention the kaiju? (well, bio-titans but one of them is basically Godzilla so..)

Salvage Union Salvage Union is a post-apocalyptic mech tabletop roleplaying game with easy to learn mechanics. You play as salvager mech pilots who scour the wasteland for salvage in scrap built mechs.

Salvage Union btw is a crunchy little #ttrpg of big mech robot vehicles and the pilots who love them, scavenging a wasteland ruined by corps, with added kaiju. It uses a (what seems to be heavily) modded version of the #Quest rules a robust mission-based and downtime structure. Worth a read.

Feeling a bit burnt out so used all my cunning and words to trick my buddy into running a short Salvage Union game. Sick of AI portraits I fell back on Heroforge to make Arthur "Baby Shark" Hobbes. About all I know about him is he follows an arcology handball team. Thanks random character tables!

Well that goes without saying. Still arguably an excellent vampire movie just because of the way it presents the brutality of killing people to drink their blood.

Some bold lukewarm takes on horror. I agreed with some and wanted to forcefully refute others with a truncheon, and that's how you can tell its a good horror takes list.

"Old" isn't the best movie in the world but I could argue that it is a perfectly cromulent horror movie.

It's a good game with a fascinating setting and some very cool elements. I'd like to get it to the table at some point. I particularly like that the DOOM is not something you can stop, only fight.

House is an odd movie tone wise in that it can't decide between comedy and horror. I have good memories of watching it with the folks and being scared mind.

By age 30 you should have:

* Very strong opinions on #DnD
* A list of things that definitely do not work in a #ttrpg no matter what evidence nay be presented
* A "hear me out tho" monster type
* A lucky faded band t-shirt that mostly gets worn when GMing
* A good friend you refuse to roleplay with

71. Loads of RPGs say to only roll the dice when failure is interesting, but then never explain what an "interesting failure" means. It means the kind where the player wouldn't savescum if this were a video game.
