Singing or trying to sing Willow Warbler in my Silver birch yesterday.

A second Willow Warbler on return migration calling well in my Silver Birch at home. One of my best places for them.

A Safflower I found growing on Mill Common Magor. I D confirmed by John Martin. Believed to be first one for VC35.

65 days and that Willow Warbler on the Magor allotment is still singing away although a bit erratic now.

59 days and the Willow Warbler, Greenways allotments, still singing but now interjecting with some unusual notes.

52 days now and that Willow Warbler is still singing away up the West End allotment Magor.

43 days and the Willow Warbler still singing and still no mate, up at my allotment Magor.

36 days now and Willow Warbler driving me mad with its song at Magor Greenways Allotments, by my plot.

31 days now and Willow Warbler still singing away in Magor Allotment.Now prefers Ash tree by my plot whose roots suck the water out of it.

24th day of singing Willow Warbler in Magor allotment.

19th day now for singing Willow Warbler on Magor Allotment. Starting to feel sorry for it.

At Collister late afternoon 24 Whimbrel most flying east, 2 Wheatear and 2 Gadwall. Lesser Whitethroats have arrived in force.

15th day now for Willow Warbler singing away in allotment oak tree.

Collister Pill ebbing tide with Milo and 70 Black -tailed Godwits feeding plus 1 Whimbrel.
A Willow Warbler singing for 7 days now in large oak tree on Allotment. Rare to stay that long as they move on from coastal strip very quickly. Would like it to breed there.

Magor Marsh Reed Warbler and 27 Mute Swans in area. 2 Reed Warblers Newport Wetlands Uskmouth reserve.

East Collister Pill on ebbing tide. 1 Whimbrel,4 Barwits,9 Grey Plover,several Dunlin. Also 1 Wheatear and a smart male sparrowhawk.

Collister Pill lunchtime 3 Swallows flying east,4 Wheatears and Barnie the Goose.

High tide at Collister with my 4 legged amigo.Still 290 Curlew and 10 Wigeon. Also 8 Knot,1 Grey Plover,5 Dunlin,28 Redshank,1 Barnacle
Goose,2 Wheatear. Up to 120 Common Gull in adjacent field. Another Willow Warbler in my garden. More local WW March sightings than I've had ever before.

Main counts Collister part of WeBS Undy with Caldicot birder. Curlew 338,Wigeon 86,Shelduck 144,L Egret 6,Dunlin 126, Grey Plover 2,Redshank 10, H Gull 52,BHGull 80 Oystercatcher 2.

My first patch Wheatear for the year at Collister Pill today.

At Collister this morning a Barnacle Goose plus 2 Grey Plover, Redshanks,Dunlins.
