It's people thinking anything that doesn't personally cater to them = bad.

There are certain stories and themes I just don't really find myself enjoying... so if those are going to be overarching or "the point" then I just won't watch.

I swear, some people care less about media criticism and more about wanting media to cater to them.
Like, no media is above criticism, but some of the things people call critique just aren't critique.
