This isnโ€™t a hallucination, Michael Gove. Youโ€™ve never explained the millions you disbursed to buddies with your crony Covid Contracts.

Cashing in on the worst public health crisis in a century should disbar people from public life permanently.

Iโ€™m proud to have spoken at the Media Reform Coalitionโ€™s launch of the โ€˜BBC Charter Review: Alternative Green Paperโ€™.

The Alternative Green Paper brings together a collection of transformative proposals for creating a more democratic, independent, accountable and sustainable BBC.

I particularly resent rags like Daily Mail gleefully reporting Trumpโ€™s bullying of Starmer. Itโ€™s disloyal and hypocritical - theyโ€™d be screaming from rooftops if U.K. meekly followed European diktats, yet would have us unquestioningly kowtow to Trump. Starmerโ€™s task is incredibly difficult.

A hugely important message from the UK PM.

It is vital everyone listens to it in full to understand the situation in the Middle East tonight.

As things escalate, there are 200,000 British citizens in the region who are at risk.

Plans to make refugee a status of perpetual limbo will do nothing to stop people who need help seeking it nor make it possible for them to rebuild their lives and contribute. I call for humane and effective asylum reforms because I am true Labour, not blue Labour. www.thetimes.com/uk/politics/...

There was always one in the class wasnโ€™t there.. that would cry if they lost, make up lies and go to the teacher saying theyโ€™d been cheated..

I'm just happy that the repellant piece of shit Goodwin didn't win. Reform threw everything at this and fucked it. And if this gives Labour a much needed kick up the arse, then that's another plus.

There's a point in this where he is clearly trying to argue that married women should not have finances independent of their husbands and also that they shouldn't be allowed to get divorced and you do basically realise this is a war against all of modernity, but particularly women.

Reform UK Accused Of 'Declaring War On Workers' Over Plan To Scrap Employment Rights Deputy leader Richard Tice said the move would help tackle the cost of living.

Project forward to 2036 under a majority Reform government and the picture darkens further. Britain would be smaller, older and whiter; more isolated from Europe; paradoxically, more vulnerable to foreign interterence and less able to fund its own defence.
The welfare state would shrink to a skeleton. Charity would fill the gaps.
Flags would proliferate; rights would not. The police and courts would be politicised. The BBC could disappear.
The NHS would survive only as a minimal safety net. Protections against discrimination would erode - you might indeed be sacked for being disabled.
Migrants and even their British-born children could find their rights curtailed unless they were deemed to
"contribute" sufficiently. Meanwhile, the wealthiest would enjoy a generous, low-tax regime.

โ€œRarely has a British political party unveiled a programme that combines cruelty with impracticality on such an extravagant scale.โ€

Chilling on Reformโ€™s increasingly confident fascism. High on viciousness and greed. Very low on wisdom. A ruinous combination.

This is genuinely interesting - anecdotally I know Labour people who've been up have been surprised by how good it feels there.

Clearly, the national party feel the same - and have some data to back it. At this point they'll have extensive canvass/PV data to give a fairly good idea.

Political people love to debate who the worst modern PM in modern times was but it's unquestionably Cameron.

10 years ago this week he gambled the prosperity and fragile unity of the UK on a referendum on an issue that most people didn't even understand to placate back benchers and fucked us all.

The video from Nigel Farage gives the impression that he was individually refused access.

Farage is in the Maldives.

200 miles away from the Chagos Islands which are not a
tourist destination.

Hasn't got the paperwork and wasn't on the 'aid boat' he's pointing at which is trying to establish a settlement for four people on the islands.

How is this serving Clacton? Who paid?

Teachers' maternity pay to be boosted for first time in 25 years | LBC Maternity pay for teachers will be boosted for the first time in 25 years to encourage more women to stay in the profession.

For too long maternity pay for teachers has been too poor.

Today our Labour government is taking a first step towards changing that โ€” doubling the number of weeks at full pay.

With Labour, change is coming for school staff.

Nobody chooses to get born into monarchy, and for many royals it's miserable. A true gilded cage. Over and above the overwhelming case for a republic on democratic and constitutional grounds, there's that

Andrew, however, is the very worst product of the system. Grasping, entitled, nasty, stupid.

I don't think there's any secret about the best ways to meet additional needs in the classroom. High ratios, lots of staff knowledge about best practice, good quality resources, adaptive environments, working in partnership with families. But all this takes time, energy and needs funding.

My constituents want me to focus on cost-of-living, jobs, NHS services, tackling crime & providing opportunities for young people.

They're not interested in who is comms director in No 10 or PM's chief of staff.

That's why we need to focus on the country & not look inwards.

PM has my support.
