I simply don't see a way trad could keep up with indie in the space. Also the way they go about getting new talent is the complete opposite to how it's done in the LitRPG/ProgFan genre space. They'd have to make a lot of changes to the way they do business

Even then, Baldree was already established in the space thanks to his voice acting work and connections. I'd argue that *was* an out of the way acquisition

Their publishing cycle is simply too long compared to the indie space. Even if they ultimately have greater reach, which is doubtful

After being told I had a voice for narration for many years, and after dabbling in it last year, I've finally pulled the trigger on doing narrations.
If all goes well, I'll have credits on at least 5 full length books before the year is out. I'm so excited!
