All playgrounds are parks, not all parks are playgrounds. This is basic.

I suspect it will keep up until a critical mass of people realize that parks aren't playgrounds, which is, I think, the neighbors' point.

My point is that the mass hysteria over some neighbors not wanting every child in the city limits across the street from their house is not the "evil" "racist" boogeyman portrayed by the weirdly defensive people attacking a pretty benign point that makes Occam's Razor a happy little test.

Whomever you copied this from, unless mischaracterizing parks as playgrounds was your tactical decision.

My point was that there is a deeply reasonable and fair reason for someone want their neighborhood park to that instead of a city playground, independent of child development, planning considerations, or parent desires. It's called empathy.

This is you missing the whole entire point of my comments. Read slower, if at all. We don't all know this is about who is playing because I just explained an alternative reason for people not wanting their neighborhood park treated like a playground by anybody.
