I did for a while. It was in the United Reformed church hall around the back of our flats. I primarily went because I discovered a boy I fancied went there.

When Stanley Tucci visited Rome, the restaurant he went to used pecorino *and* parmigiano. Apparently the Roman purists refuse to eat it but other Italians do. They’d be horrified by my adaptations of dishes, but who cares. My lot are from the province of Parma anyway.

I’m on something of an efficiency streak at the moment, despite (or perhaps because of) the extra sleeping. Last week I actually ticked off almost everything on my very long to-do list. This week’s is of equal length but the tasks are even more time-consuming. Life admin, band admin, bit of design.

Maybe this explains why Met office forecasts are increasingly inaccurate. I’d place more faith in checking weather conditions via a strip of seaweed than in AI.

I’m very tempted to buy this but my TBR pile almost fell on my head the other day so I might wait until my next birthday.

There was a beautiful bronze orb spider climbing around on the front door but the vibration of turning the key made it fall down to destination unknown, possibly inside my handbag. (Still, having got up close and personal with a tarantula at last Friday’s Meet The Animals, I think we’ll be fine.)

Don’t know what the long range weather forecast is looking like but you might get lucky with last minute bargains. It’s definitely not as busy this year
